Also, there is a special feature of marriage hand, as per which, a player getting a particular combination such as of 7, 8, or 9 spades will get straight 100 points, making the game more competitive and engaging.

Apart from the two most commonly played games above, there are also other variations such as Canasta. This is yet again an interesting game where 4 players can play in partnership. This is a classic game that is played with 2 decks of cards and 4 Jokers.

This is another interesting variation of Rummy not just played in India but also in Bhutan and Nepal. It is played between 2 to 5 members and is played with 3 decks of cards along with wild Joker cards in place of the Joker printed cards.
